Zayn Malik Dyes His Hair Green Like The Joker

In just a few short months, Zayn Malik has gone from being a One Direction heartthrob to dropping out of the band and now dying his hair green. In an Instagram post on Saturday, his fiancée Perrie Edwards revealed the change, which has instantly drawn comparisons to Jared Leto’s Joker look:

There has been a lot of controversy surrounding Malik since he left One Direction in March to be "a normal 22-year-old." Some artists have questioned the decision and Malik has even been in a Twitter feud with one of his former bandmates.

Considering all the unfavorable reactions to Malik's decision, perhaps it's no coincidence his new look is reminiscent of the green-haired Batman villain. Edwards posted the photo with the caption "#GreenHairDontCare," but she might as well have included the fan-favorite villain's "Dark Knight" catchphrase: "Why so serious?"
