Your mother probably told you that your bra straps should never show. But we're here to tell you your mother was wrong. OK, she wasn't completely wrong, but there are certain times when showing a little lace isn't the worst thing -- it can actually make an outfit.
The trick to showing your bra is to make it look intentional. More often than not, bras should stay hidden. But when they aren't, make 'em take center stage. Whether you're wearing a bra over your top (trust us, it can look cool), wearing one as a top (only for the brave) or wearing one under a low-cut top, showing a little beautiful lingerie never killed anyone.
If you still don't believe us, check out the stylish ladies on Lookbook.nu and Instagram who managed to make an exposed bra work. We don't know about you, but we're going out to buy some new underthings worthy of being shown off -- our ratty Victoria's Secret bras from college don't quite make the cut.
