The new mascot, who people are saying looks either like Lisa Simpson after she has been covered in acid -- or maybe Lisa Simpson if you’re on acid -- is that of the Partick Thistle football club. It’s the result of a new sponsorship deal with an investment advisory firm. A manager at the firm enlisted his friend to create a mascot that the club has since clarified is “an angry, but very approachable, sun.”
