Jon Snow may be (spoiler) dead, but Kit Harington's career is alive and well.

Variety reports the former "Game of Thrones" star has joined the cast of "Brimstone," which stars Dakota Fanning as a young woman on the run from her past who is being hunted by an evil preacher (Guy Pearce).

According to E! News, Harington plays an outlaw in the film, in a role that Robert Pattinson was originally announced for back in February.

And those still mourning Harington's "Game of Thrones" character can take some solace in knowing that in addition to the billion and one theories on why he's not really dead, you can at least watch the actor in a familiar setting. Next up for the 28-year-old actor is "7 Days In Hell," a tennis mockumentary co-starring Andy Samberg, which premieres on HBO July 7.
