Try As He Might, This NYPD Cop Couldn't Resist Shaking His Stuff At Pride

Even an on-duty New York City Police Department officer can't resist Pride.

A cop shook it to the sounds of Michael Jackson with Aaron Santis, a marcher from the LGBT Big Apple Softball League who took part in Sunday's parade through the streets of Manhattan. The cop and Santis danced together to Jackson's "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" and it was all caught on video.

“The cop was standing there all stoic,” Paige Ponzeka, a member of the league, told BuzzFeed. “As soon as Aaron started dancing with him, grinding up against him, the cop tried to stay still but then he just got super into it. The crowd loved it. It was an awesome moment.”

Santis was happy about the officer's enthusiasm.

"He really let it go, let loose and had some fun," Santis told the New York Daily News. "I was really appreciative of that and I was really appreciative that he was being such a good sport about it. It shows that the NYPD can have some fun."
