'Where Is Bill?' And Other Crucial Hillary Clinton Email Questions

WASHINGTON -- After combing through the 3,000 or so emails sent or received by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton that the State Department released Tuesday evening, one definitely has to conclude, as the Washington Post's Hunter Schwarz did, that many a "Veep" episode could be inspired by the day-to-day tasks of Clinton and her aides.

The emails are just a taste of the more than 50,000 pages Clinton gave the State Department after controversy erupted over her use of a private email address and server while she was Secretary of State. A federal judge had ordered the department to release batches of the emails monthly in May.

There are some revelations that accompanied the first dump of emails, of course. Clinton pushed for LGBT rights while at the department, for example. And senior officials in President Barack Obama's administration knew in 2009 that Clinton was using a private email address for her state correspondence.

For the most part, reading through the emails was an unrewarding task. But that doesn't mean we don't still have some pressing questions!
