WASHINGTON -- England lost to Japan in the Women's World Cup semifinal on Wednesday after Laura Bassett accidentally kicked the ball into her team's own net during the final minute of play.

Many people have confused England's Laura Bassett with HuffPost's Laura Bassett. We interviewed Bassett about the game.
