Son's Video To Help 69-Year-Old Mom Find Love Goes Viral

Five million views and more than 3,500 emails later, Alex Lyngaas' Mom, Eva, is still shoveling out from the avalanche of prospective suitors that her son's Mother's Day video launched. Lyngaas, a Norwegian film-maker, released an update this weekend on his project to find his mom a mate. He calls the effort "looking for Adam" -- Adam and Eva, get it?

The original YouTube video showed a private and somewhat reluctant Eva, 69, finally allowing her son to tell the world how great his mom was. In the update, Alex details the global response and media flurry that followed the first video. For her part, Eva left post-haste once the attention began. She went to visit her own mom in Prague and left it to Alex to deal with the media flurry and the appearances on morning talk shows. When she returned, Eva began sorting through the more than 3,500 emails, "studying" each one carefully, she said. But dating is "not a hobby," says Eva, and she is taking the process very seriously. No word on whether she has met any of the would-be Adams in person, but the second film ends with a "to be continued."

In the original video, Alex spells out all the fun things his mom likes to do -- skiing, swimming, playing tennis, drinking beer, and more. All like-minded would-be suitors are encouraged to reach out via email at icouldbeadam@gmail.com.

We suspect it's not too late.
