In a new video that's rapidly rising in views, mom and Facebook vlogger Nostril_Curl highlights the judgment women face when it comes to motherhood.
Using sign language, she begins, "Girl gets pregnant before 25, she is too young to be a mom. Girl gets pregnant at 30, she is too old." The mom, who is deaf and frequently posts about parenthood and deaf culture, touches on controversial topics like spanking and ultimately shows that whatever stance you take, you can't win in the court of public opinion.
Of the way people view working and stay-at-home parents, she sums it up: "Girl gets job. How can she stand to be away from her baby all day like that? Girl becomes a stay-at-home mom. She probably doesn't do anything all day but watch TV."
The video has over seven million views and has been shared over 140,000 times and counting. After commenters questioned why Nostril_Curl made the video while sitting in the bathtub, she responded that it was her one moment of peace from the chaos of parenting. "I was taking a break from my kids and enjoying my bubble bath from a long day!"
A desire all parents can understand.
