'RHOC' Star Tamra Judge Throws Shade At Housewives Who Claim To Quit

Tamra Judge isn't sugarcoating the reason behind most of the "Real Housewives" turnover.

When asked by HuffPost Live's Nancy Redd what she plans on doing when her time on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" runs its course, the 47-year-old said she acknowledges the inevitability of that time, but affirmed that it wouldn't be of her choosing:

I know that that's going to happen. You know, one day, the "Housewives" [series] isn't going to be around and, you know, everybody puts their time in and [then gets told], "Bye!" I don't know, I guess I'll deal with it when it happens. I think I'll be okay.

The "RHOC" star of eight seasons suggested that former "Housewives" rarely exit the show by their own volition, positing, "What do you think? Do you think any 'Housewife' quits?"

"It's a great gig," she continued. "Where else can you make that kind of money and work four months out of the year?"

While Judge wasn't referring to any specific former "Housewives," speculation about firings have always surrounded departures from the show. Jill Zarin, formerly of "The Real Housewives Of New York City," denies ever having been fired from the show; "There is really no such thing as a pink slip when it comes to TV," she said. But "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, who previously claimed reports she was fired were false, has since admitted she was in fact let go, which suggests Judge's theory may be correct.

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
