A recent CNN report on Pluto could have used a little help from mission control.
During "Anderson Cooper 360" on Tuesday night, CNN meteorologist Jennifer Gray mistakenly gave Pluto's moon a whole new name.
Gray called Pluto's tiny moon "Churon" and said the dwarf planet's atmosphere was made of "nitron." It's actually "Charon," and Pluto's atmosphere is mostly nitrogen.
The "Churon" label appeared several times onscreen throughout the report, giving the Twitterverse plenty of time to notice.
@CommentaryCNN "Churon". And I learned Pluto has an atmosphere of "nitron". Ouch. pic.twitter.com/TM5CmpBOfU

Churon, Pluto's moon that's not as famous as Charon, takes its name from the tasty Spanish pastry, the churro. pic.twitter.com/wSEZuFPVYc

Pluto's moon Churon seems like a great name for a Taco Bell burrito

Pluto has dominated the news cycle this week after NASA's New Horizons space probe survived a flyby of the dwarf planet that was 9 1/2 years in the making.
