Deorr Kunz Jr.'s parents thought his grandfather was watching him. But the 2-year-old Idaho boy's grandfather thought his parents had an eye on him.
Deorr disappeared from the Timber Creek Campground in Leadore, Idaho, on Friday afternoon, according to KTVB. He hasn't been seen since.
Deorr Kunz Jr. wandered off from his family's campsite on Friday.
Over the weekend, rescue teams scoured more than two miles of the campground on foot, on horseback and with divers.
"We haven't found a thread," Lemhi County Sheriff's Incident Commander Dave Morelli told KTVB. The sheriff's office did not immediately respond to The Huffington Post's request for comment.
Authorities received a tip on Monday night from a woman who said she thought she saw a man at a Walmart with a boy who might have been Deorr. But the Bonneville County Sheriff's Office ruled out that possibility on Tuesday, East Idaho News reports.
Leadore and Ammon are more than 120 miles apart.
At a vigil for the missing toddler on Monday night, his parents maintained hope they would find their son.
"We will find him one way or another,” Deorr’s father told East Idaho News. “We will find him no matter what it takes.”
