The cover directly nods to the July 27 issue of New York Magazine, which features interviews with 35 women who have accused Cosby of sexual assault. The NY Mag story includes video and photo essays detailing the once-beloved comic's alleged abuse.
The Daily News headline refers to “America’s Dad,” a nickname that Cosby earned for playing Dr. Cliff Huxtable on "The Cosby Show."
