If Cara Delevingne's and Kate Mara's experiences are any indication, sitting through press junket interviews can get pretty repetitive, not to mention ridiculously sexist.
Stars are often asked the same questions hundreds of times, and, as was the case for Delevingne, called out for not being lively enough in their answers. Additionally, female celebrities are often subjected to questions about their outfits and bodies, while their male counterparts get to answer questions about the films or projects they're promoting.
In a new Funny or Die video, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg (stars of the upcoming "American Ultra"), tackle everything that's wrong with the typical press interview by flipping the script on each other. Instead of being interviewed by a network reporter, the co-stars interview each other, and to make things more interesting, they ask each other questions generally delegated to the opposite sex. The result is a hilarious commentary on the state of media junkets today.
"Is this now how these things usually go for you?" Stewart said after her co-star became visibly flustered when asked if he was "seeing anyone at the moment."
"No, I'm normally asked if I'm the class clown," Eisenberg answers, to which KStew quips, "Aw, that sounds so easy and fun. God, I would love that."
Watching Eisenberg struggle to come up with the name of his favorite designer and show off his nail-bitten fingers on the mani cam is pretty funny, but it also further cements just how much crap the women of Hollywood have to put up with from the press.
