Huge, Gross Maggot Removed From Woman's Lip

Botox is old news. Try maggots for swelling lips!

I don't know why she swallowed a fly, perhaps I'll die after watching this video.

There are a lot of unknowns about this video, showing a doctor apparently pull what is likely a botfly larvae -- more disgustingly known as a maggot! -- from inside a woman's bulging lip. Limited details about the ghastly medical condition come from the original YouTube post, which said the patient visited a doctor because of a swollen, itchy lip.

The point is, this woman had a giant, writhing maggot living inside of her. There's very disturbing you-may-not-want-to-watch-this video of the extraction:

It's unclear where she's from, when her lip became infested and how. The video was originally posted in March to YouTube, and is just now gaining viral traction.

But in similar stories by The Huffington Post, we've seen that flies can lay their eggs in anyone's orifices. Last year, a hapless man in India had hundreds of maggots pulled from his ear using tweezers.
