On Monday, NBC announced that Tracy Morgan will host "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 17.

This will mark the former "SNL" cast member's second time hosting the sketch comedy program, as well Morgan's first time performing since he was critically injured in a car crash in June 2014.

"SNL" will kick off its 41st season with Miley Cyrus, who returns as host for the third time. Next up will be Amy Schumer, who makes her much-awaited debut hosting on Oct. 10.
