How To Age Gracefully, By People Aged 7 To 93

“Don't listen to other people's advice. Nobody knows what the hell they're doing.”

“Dear 7-year-old, no matter what anyone says -- stay weird.”

Those were the words of wisdom provided by an 8-year-old boy in this heartwarming video created by CBC Radio's WireTap.

The video features people aged 7 to 93 offering advice, both humorous and heartfelt, to those younger than them about “how to age gracefully.”

An 18-year-old urges 16-year-olds to keep their LEGO collection while 34-year-olds are reminded to “stop panicking.”

"Dear 91-year-old,” said one elderly man. “Don't listen to other people's advice. Nobody knows what the hell they're doing. Signed, a 93-year-old.”

The clip, which has gone viral this week, was created as a final farewell by WireTap, which recently went off the air after 11 years.
