Everybody Except Donald Trump Knows How To Answer The Birther Question

How do GOP candidates fare when they encounter birther nonsense?

President Barack Obama has long established that he was born in Hawaii and is a Christian, yet the so-called "birthers" continue to dispute both of these facts.

How do the GOP candidates fare when they encounter birther nonsense? We rated their responses. Here's a selection:

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush: "He's an American; he's a Christian."

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson: "I don't believe that that is true, that he was born somewhere else."

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.): "He was born in the United States; he's a Christian. He is president of the United States for the next year and a half, and we're going to move on."

Fortunately, most of the GOP candidates can answer correctly when faced with these "birther" questions -- except for one of them.
