How London's Inner City Schools Are Setting A New Gold Standard

New data from SchoolDash reveals London's inner city schools are thriving.

According to new visual data pulled from a U.K.-based research group called SchoolDash, inner city schools in London are outperforming schools in other regions of England despite having more low-income students, larger class sizes and a high percentage of students whose first language isn't English. In the video above, CityLab writer Feargus O'Sullivan, SchoolDash founder Timo Hannay and BBC news education correspondent Sean Coughlan explain to HuffPost Live's Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani the positive strides made and how the rest of the country can follow suit.
