Amy Schumer Wants To Make Up With The Kardashians

Will the Kardashians ever develop a sense of humor about themselves?

Amy Schumer has extended an olive branch to the Kardashian clan after her debut on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend. In her opening monologue, the "Trainwreck" star mused on the current state of women in Hollywood and the absence of female role models as she took aim at the the reality TV family.

Schumer went on to single out Khloe, whose recent Complex magazine spread and weight loss have attracted considerable attention.

"We used to have Khloe. Khloe was ours, right? Whenever there's a group of women, you identify with one of them, right?" the actress quipped. "Khloe, she lost half her body weight. She lost a Kendall [Jenner], and we have nothing."

The day after the episode aired, Khloe took to Twitter to address Schumer's jab:

Schumer responded on Tuesday with a picture and post of her 18-month old niece, who she commonly refers to as "The Duchess" on social media. "Nothing but love for that family," she wrote. "I like idea of sending women the message to be happy in their own skin. #peace."
