A Mysterious UK Commercial Revealed 15 Seconds Of Adele's New Album

Her "21" follow-up is seemingly just around the corner.

One spot during a commercial break for an episode of the U.K.'s "X Factor" this weekend stood out: Against a black background, lyrics appeared in white to a song voiced by ... Adele?

"Hello, it's me," the song begins, failing to identify the speaker, who goes on to ask someone from her past to meet up. Soulful, slowly building -- it's got Adele's fingerprints all over it. Seconds later, the crooner leaves us with an enigmatic ellipsis, vanishing into thin airwaves across Britain.

One Republic -- whose Ryan Tedder has written songs with the British singer -- tweeted the following Sunday, providing further confirmation.

This measly little clip is the first time we've heard a new track from Adele in years. Her last album, "21," debuted in 2011, and her new one is said to come out in November. According to rumors, it will be titled "25," continuing a lady pop star trend of naming albums according to their own bodily senescence.

If the mystery ad is any hint, Adele's new album will be no less full of heartbreak than her last.
