On Monday, NBC announced that Matthew McConaughey will host "Saturday Night Live" with musical guest Adele on Nov. 21.

This will be the second time the "Interstellar" star will have hosted the show and the first confirmed performance from Adele after announcing her new album "25."

McConaughey is the latest star to secure a hosting gig on the 41st season, which opened with three-time host Miley Cyrus. Tracy Morgan also made his triumphant return to the "SNL" stage on Oct. 17.

McConaughey has been busy filming his new movie "Gold" in New York City, which requires him to sport a very different look. No word on whether the actor will fire back at Jim Carrey's hilarious spoof of his Lincoln car commercials.
