Bernie Sanders' Non-Political Dream Job Would Land Him At CNN

"Trust me -- the way the media deals with politics would radically change."

Should Bernie Sanders' candidacy for U.S. president fall through, there's an unelected office he wouldn't mind holding: president of CNN.

Sanders let slip the tidbit during MSNBC's Democratic candidates forum on Friday night, responding to moderator Rachel Maddow asking what his dream job would be if he could not be a politician.

He may be a self-described socialist, but Sanders seemed to indicate he'd lead the media network with an iron fist.

"If I was president of CNN," he told Maddow, "trust me -- the way that media deals with politics would radically change."

Game on, Jeff Zucker.
