“How is this real life? We need to act NOW.”
Those were the sobering words penned by actor Ben Schwartz in reaction to Wednesday’s attack at a social services center for people with developmental difficulties that left 14 people dead and 17 injured in San Bernardino, California.
In the wake of the attack -- reportedly the 355th mass shooting in the U.S. in 336 days -- several celebrities took to social media to express their sorrow and support for the victims. Many also called for stricter gun control laws.
There is so much evil in the world. I don't know what else to say.

The IRC was one of the VERY few places my family could turn to when our son was diagnosed with Asperger's. We are heartbroken.

We are attacked by foreign terrorists and spend trillions to defend ourselves. But we are terrorized daily by gun violence, and do nothing?

We need to fix this. Before another innocent father, mother, son, daughter, wife, husband, loses their precious life. Our country is dying.
