San Bernardino And Neighboring Communities Grieve At Vigils

The massacre at a social services center on Wednesday rocked San Bernardino, a city of over 215,000, 60 miles east of Los Angeles. Two attackers killed 14 people and wounded 21 when they opened fire at a holiday party. Members of the community and neighboring towns came together on Thursday to mourn the dead and seek comfort at vigils, including a candlelight gathering at San Manuel Stadium, home to the minor league baseball team the Inland Empire 66ers.
