Ryan Gosling Channels His Childhood Dancer Days On 'Saturday Night Live'

Highly important.

In case you haven't spent many of your waking hours on earth watching Ryan Gosling in old "Mickey Mouse Club" videos on the Internet, here's a little factoid for you: The A-list actor was a singer and dancer in his youth.

As the host of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, Gosling channeled his childhood in two separate musical sketches. (And also cracked up a lot in a sketch about aliens.)

In one sketch, Gosling returns to a bar in his hometown, where a former bully goads him into breaking it down to some tunes from the jukebox.

And, in a parody of NBC's "The Wiz Live!", Gosling plays a scarecrow from "The Wizard of Oz."

But do they even have anything on this?
