Don't Expect To See Kim Kardashian Give Birth On TV Again

The reality star was uncharacteristically camera-shy this time around.

As a reality star, it's Kim Kardashian's job to share her life with the rest of the world. Yet, as second-time mom with 11 seasons of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" under her belt, it seems she's embracing a little thing called privacy.

Unlike when she went into labor with her daughter North, TMZ reports that cameras were not invited into her luxury birthing suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when she gave birth to son Saint West on Saturday.

Back in 2013, Kardashian shot a sweet message for her daughter-to-be on sister Khloe's phone from the delivery room. The scene aired on an episode of of "KUWTK" in October 2013.

While the episode was chock full of TMI, viewers didn't see the actual birth like they did when Kourtney pretty much pulled Mason out from between her legs with her own two hands in 2009.

Kim experienced a complicated pregnancy with Saint, and that may have contributed to her decision not to film the birth. Sources told People magazine the star had a "really tough birth," claiming that she again suffered from placenta accreta, as she did when she gave birth to North.

And just as you won't get to peek inside Kim's delivery room this time around, don't expect to see Saint appear on her reality show, either. The 35-year-old has largely kept North off-camera, with a few special exceptions. That's unlikely to change now that the Kardashian-Wests have added another member to their family.
