'The Daily Show' Knows You Weren't Really Watching The Democratic Debate

Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," which has live-tweeted more than one of the GOP primary debates, took on the Democratic presidential hopefuls Saturday night.

But "The Daily Show" kept it real. They know you weren't really watching the debate, which started at 8:30 p.m. EST the Saturday before Christmas.

They made it clear they weren't watching, either:

But as the debate went on it became more and more clear they just made some s**t up:

It actually wouldn't have been surprising if former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley broke out his guitar:

But this was probably pretty unlikely to ever really happen:

But we were on board -- who doesn't love "The Wiz"?!

And right at 10 p.m. EST, when the debate was scheduled to end, "The Daily Show" bid the candidates adieu:

Too bad the debate lasted way longer than that.
