4 Simple Ways To Stay Grounded And Stress-Free During The Holidays

Vlogger Martin Sosa, from PeakYourMind, shares tips for staying mindful during this busy time.

There's no getting around it -- the holidays are a stressful time of year. Whether it's organizing parties, buying gifts, or meeting family members you haven't seen for a long time, it's easy to get lost in the whirlwind and lose your personal center of gravity.

How can you stay grounded and mindful during this busy time?

HuffPost Religion teamed up with vlogger Martin Sosa for some tips on how to handle the holidays. Sosa, 25, of Irvine, California, is the personality behind PeakYourMind, a YouTube channel that's part of the Outspeak network. Sosa makes videos about self-improvement, social skills and making the most of your everyday.

"My hope in putting this kind of content out there was that it would be able to touch people or reach people in a way that would give them a new perspective or open their minds to new possibilities or awaken them to more of their 'true selves' and at the same time bring lightheartedness, fun and authenticity to these topics," Sosa told The Huffington Post.

For the holidays, one of Sosa's biggest tips is to "let go and let flow." Instead of worrying about how things turn out, he suggests letting go of the need to manage the details and just enjoy being in the moment with your friends and family.
