Knife-Wielding Santa Gets Naughty At KFC

Santa's at the top of his own naughty list this year.

Police in England are looking for a man who robbed a KFC dressed as Santa Claus in Alfreton, Derbyshire on Saturday night, according to the Derby Telegraph.

Instead of climbing down a chimney, this Santa climbed through the drive-through window of the restaurant and wielded a 10-inch knife.

KFC staff say the suspect threatened them with the knife and demanded access to the safe, and left the scene with an unknown amount of money, according to the Telegraph.

Security footage shows the man clad in a red and white Santa hat, jacket, pants and black t-shirt enter the eatery through the window and head to the back office of the establishment.

Police have appealed to the public for help identifying the man, who was described by witnesses as being 5-foot-10 and stocky, according to the Guardian.

"We can confirm there was a robbery at the Alfreton drive-through. Thankfully, the restaurant was shut and no-one was hurt but we are offering employees any support they need," a spokeswoman for KFC told The Derby Telegraph.
