For this little raccoon, it was a particularly harsh reality to stomach.
In the Vine above, the critter drops what the caption says is cotton candy into a pool of water, causing it to vanish right before its eyes.
As the raccoon combs its paws through the water, searching vainly for what once was, we can't help but think of our holiday vacation slipping through our fingers.
