This New App Could Revolutionize The Way Women Get Birth Control

It's like Uber for birth control.

A new app is changing the birth control game.

Nurx is a San Francisco-based app, created by tech entrepreneurs Hans Gangeskar and Dr. Edvard Engesaeth, which allows women to order their birth control with just the click of a button.

Users can set up their Nurx birth control delivery system by answering a series of questions about their medical history and preferences in birth control. The service then syncs up with the user's insurance and, presto, their prescription is delivered to them in as little as 24-hours.

The app's "hassle free" approach to getting birth control takes away the complications (and the stigmas) that often surrounds obtaining birth control for many women. And, while it's currently only operating in California, Gangeskar and Engesaeth reportedly have plans to expand the app to other U.S. cities soon.
