Romeo Miller Can Teach Us All Something About Interracial Dating

"Love is colorless at the end of the day."

Romeo Miller's relationship with Toneta Morgan sparked a lot of controversy when he posted photos with her on Instagram last year. People accused Morgan, who is white, of dating the rapper only for his money. Critics also said that he should be with a black woman.

Miller defended his relationship shortly after receiving backlash online, and said his interracial relationship shouldn't be an issue. He has also hinted that his relationship with Morgan has ended, he told Rolling Out that he didn't think race mattered when it came to love and that he still felt passionately about dating whomever he wanted.

“There’s a lot more craziness going on in the world," he said. "A problem shouldn’t be whether I like somebody that’s Black, Chinese, Puerto Rican or purple. If I love you, I love you for you.”

Miller said that instead of ignoring it, he wanted to address the flawed views of his naysayers.

"[L]ove is colorless at the end of the day, and you can’t live for other people,” he said. “I haven’t been in many relationships, but what I learned from that relationship is that you have to make sure you’re happy.”

In other words, love has "No Limit."
