Kate Winslet Wants Leonardo DiCaprio To Win An Oscar Just As Much As You Do

Don't we all want Leo to take home that golden statue?

She may have left him in the freezing waters of the Atlantic, but Kate Winslet is standing by her "Titanic" co-star Leonardo DiCaprio during award show season.

In an interview with BBC, the 40-year-old actress said it's DiCaprio's year to take home the golden statue.

"I think you can sort of feel it," said Winslet, who is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Steve Jobs" at the 2016 Oscars. "Everyone wants it for him. It would be amazing -- just amazing."

The odds seem to be in DiCaprio's favor so far.

The 41-year-old actor recently won Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards for his performance in "The Revenant." DiCaprio also picked up another Best Actor accolade at Sunday's Critics' Choice Awards.

Hopefully, after five nominations and zero wins, the Academy will be kind to Leo and finally give him a statue at the Oscars on Feb. 28.

We're also hoping his winning high-five/fist bump will be a little less awkward than this:
