Tyrese Gibson is the latest among a long list of stars to chime in on the lack of diversity at this year's Oscars.

During an interview with People, the "Furious 7" actor weighed in on the #OscarsSoWhite controversy and simultaneously brought the LGBTQ community into the discussion.

"If they purposefully left out all homosexuals and gays from being nominated for an Oscar -- if the host Chris Rock was a homosexual, he would have stepped down already," the singer said.

"I think at the end of the day, this is the way you affect change," Gibson added. "If you've got a problem with feeling like you're being excluded all across the board, you don't just sit on your hands and complain. You fix it."

When asked if he thinks Chris Rock should step down from his role as host, Gibson explained that, in his opinion, there's nothing the comedian can say on Oscars night to remedy the issue.

"The statement that you make is you step down. That's what you do," Gibson said.

It should be noted, however, that Rock has already mocked the Academy for its lack of diversity by calling the show the "White BET Awards."

To sum up his thoughts, Gibson added, "This is not us saying we're against the Oscars because we're gonna combat racism. We're just saying, 'Yo, this is not cool.' You can't be doing this in 2016 and act as if no one is gonna notice."
