NBA Announcer Quickly Realizes His Accidental Double Entendre

It came out all wrong.

Sometimes all it takes is one slightly off word to turn an innocent play-by-play call into naughty innuendo.

On Sunday in Los Angeles, Charlotte Hornets broadcaster Eric Collins delivered this double entendre when a Lakers player chased a ball to the sideline: "Oh, my goodness, Jordan Clarkson almost came in my lap."

He could have said "flew," or "stumbled" or something. But he didn't, because that's what happens sometimes during a live broadcast. Collins' bulging eyes presumably indicate he realized how that sounded, but we'll let this Freudian slip, well, slip.

At least he didn't say an entire hockey team was having a "tremendous amount of sex."
