A man dressed as Batman robbed a dollar store in Orlando, Florida, on Tuesday night, police said.

He wore the Caped Crusader's trademark mask and a gray t-shirt bearing the fictional superhero's famous logo during the armed holdup, NBC Miamir eports.

Surveillance video shows the suspect entering the 123 Dollar Store on N Semoran Boulevard at 8 p.m.

Orange County Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook that he wielded a gun to demand money from two female clerks. They complied and he casually walked out the door with the cash.

Police described the unidentified man as either white or hispanic and of thin build.

A person matching his description hit up the Dollar General Store some four miles away on South Goldenrod Road around 90 minutes later, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Authorities have not yet released surveillance footage from the later robbery. It's not been confirmed whether it was the same man. It's also unclear how much money was stolen in each incident, but the clerks at both of the stores were unharmed.
