Stephen Curry Started Off Super Bowl 50 With A Literal Bang

Proud Panthers fan Stephen Curry got Carolina fans pumped up for Super Bowl 50 by manning the #KeepPounding drum.

The Golden State Warriors basketball player (and reigning MVP) banged the drum just before the National Anthem.

The Carolina Panthers made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday just a few hours before the game.

Curry has already manned the drum once this season at the Panthers' home opener in September. Saturday night, Curry wore blue Under Armor shoes to show support for his favorite football team.

Curry's younger sister, Sydel, posted a photo with Panther QB Cam Newton earlier in the day.
