Ciara is allegedly suing the father of her child, rapper Future, in a $15 million lawsuit for slander and libel.

TMZ reports that in the lawsuit, Ciara claims Future has made numerous "false and defamatory statements" about her parenting skills and her relationship with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Ciara's reps declined to comment for this piece, and representatives for Future had not returned a request for comment at time of publication.

The former couple, who split around August 2014, have often traded barbs in interviews and over social media.

On Jan. 4, Future subtweeted his ex-fiancee about visitation rights (and, apparently, child support) regarding their son, who is named Future. This is allegedly one of the incidents mentioned in Ciara's suit.

Another incident also referenced in the lawsuit is Future's July interview on radio show "The Breakfast Club." The rapper was upset about Wilson being involved in his son's life and doing things like pushing his stroller in photographs.

"At the end of the day, I'm not for the publicity stunts," Future said. "Leave my son out of the publicity stunts. Just leave him out of your relationship."

In an interview with HuffPost Live in July, Future also gave a little TMI about his sex life with Ciara, after Wilson said he and the "Goodies" singer were not having sex for religious reasons.

"God told me something else. He ain't tell me to wait. I guarantee you that," Future said. "We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That's a true story."
