Meghan Trainor, we are all about this look.
The formerly blonde songstress stepped out to a pre-Grammys party in Beverly Hills Sunday wearing a red, floor length gown. But the only red thing anyone really noticed was her new auburn hair.
The 22-year-old traded in her signature blonde locks for a shorter, choppier, darker 'do that made her pretty much unrecognizable at the event.
Trainor first debuted the new look on Instagram over the weekend. "NEW ALBUM. NEW HAIR. THANK YOU LO LO @loreienmeillon," she captioned the photo, shouting out celebrity hairstylist Lorien Meillon. Meillon, who works at the Ken Paves salon in Los Angeles, frequently shares photos and videos of Trainor on her Instagram.
The two appear to be friends, however, Trainor told Seventeen she wasn't too keen on her stylist's decision at first.
"My hairstylist said, 'We're gonna cut it. And we're gonna dye it.' I cried, and now I love it. I just have to get used to it. For 14 years I was blonde. I haven't had brown hair since I was three years old," she said.
