Disney CEO Bob Iger shared the news at the annual Disney shareholders meeting on Thursday morning.

"We do tweak the size, nature and complexity... often before we break ground," Iger said in the meeting. "There have been some tweaks from the initial pitch. But I think what we're building is going to be fantastic."

When they're done, the lands will take up about 14 acres at each Disneyland and Disney World. An opening date has not yet been set.

Until then, Jedis can get their intergalactic fix with all kinds of Star Wars rides, shows and fireworks blowouts currently running at the parks.

May the force be with you, travelers!
