Singer Tom Fletcher Shares His Latest Labor Of Love... From Wife's Delivery Room

The room where your pregnant wife is in labor probably isn’t the best place to announce a new book. But it seems British pop star and author Tom Fletcher didn’t get the memo.

In this viral video, the McFly singer is seen in the hospital with his pregnant wife Giovanna, who he says is about to give birth.

“I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to tell you all about my new book. It’s my first ever novel and it’s called ‘The Christmasauras,’” he tells the camera as his wife shoots him the most damning side-eyes you’ve ever seen.

“‘The Christmasauras’ is a story about a boy called William Trundle and a dinosaur, the Christmasauras, and how they meet one Christmas Eve and have a magical adventure,” Fletcher continues. “It’s about families and friendships, Santa and sleigh bells, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic, and it’s about finding your heart’s true desire.”

Oblivious to Giovanna’s moans and evil looks, the musician then breaks into song -- with musical help from some unexpected sources.

Giovanna did give birth to the couple's second son. On February 16, the couple, who are parents to a 2-year-old boy, announced the birth of baby Buddy on social media.

“Completely overwhelmed with love for our second son Buddy, and can’t wait for him to meet his big brother,” Fletcher wrote in a tweet.
