We’ve All Been This Adorable Crying Dayton Fan With A Cute Little Hat

In other words, we feel you, kiddo.

This little Dayton Flyers fan came to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday afternoon ready to cheer harder than anyone else in the arena. Adorning a Dayton jersey and old-school fighter pilot's gear, he was so ready to see No. 7 Dayton avoid an upset to No. 10 Syracuse, but as with so many things in life, the game didn't go as planned.

When CBS' cameras flashed to the upset de facto mascot, Dayton was down by 22 points in the second half. Syracuse went on to beat Dayton 70-51 to advance to the Round of 32. It wasn't even close.

But, as someone who cried over my favorite sports teams losing many times as a child, I can relate, and there's plenty of other people out there who can, too.

There's always next year, kiddo.
