Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery."

James Dashner, author of the "Maze Runner" series, assured fans via Twitter on Friday that O'Brien's injuries were not life-threatening.

I just want to let everyone know that yes, Dylan was hurt, but that he’s going to be okay. Not life threatening in any way.
