President Barack Obama and Cuban President Raúl Castro shared a very awkward moment onstage during a press conference Monday.

At the very end of their joint speech, the two leaders were preparing to leave the podium to pose for pictures. Castro reached out, possibly for a high-five or a handshake, and ended up grasping the U.S. president's forearm as Obama let his hand go completely limp.

Castro ended up holding Obama’s arm in the air for a few pain-inducing moments as they smiled for the cameras.
