In the wake of the potentially apocalyptic oncoming of Instagram's "push notifications," here is an Instagram artist we'd most recommend adding to your newly curated feed. His name is Ryan, but he's better known as "Mushroom Ninja," as his profile beautifully frames in a psychedelic yin yang.
The Baltimore-based fungi warrior photographs the wonderful world of mycology, hunting for 'shrooms big and small, classic and utterly strange, sharing them for the world to see. The self-proclaimed mycophile shows that the variety of mushrooms out there is more diverse than our imaginations can grasp, resembling dripping seashells, neon sponges, translucent orange jelly fish, and classic Super Mario imagery, one after the next.
