The First Images Of The Fully Illustrated 'Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets' Are Here

Potterheads, rejoice!

The first look at the fully illustrated "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" is here, and it is awesome.

The cover of the Jim Kay-illustrated book, showing the Weasley's flying car heading toward the Burrow, was released by Bloomsbury and Scholastic Wednesday along with an inside detailed illustration of the Phoenix and first shared by BuzzFeed.

“Seeing Jim Kay’s illustrations moved me profoundly,” J.K. Rowling said in a statement to BuzzFeed. “I love his interpretation of Harry Potter’s world, and I feel honoured and grateful that he has lent his talent to it.”

Kay's illustrated version of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was released last year.

"My agent just rang up one day and said, 'Are you sitting down? Harry Potter. Seven books. What do you think?'" Kay told Entertainment Weekly. "At first I wasn’t sure because I’m a big fan of the films. But I thought, 'Gosh, I can design everything: the costumes, the architecture, the people, the creatures.' That’s a dream commission."

And our dreams come true.
