J.K. Rowling Gives Magical Advice To Mom In A 'Harry Potter' Dilemma

"Do Dobby eyes as you say it."

J.K. Rowling offered one mom some comical parenting advice, and the whole exchange was unsurprisingly magical.

The "Harry Potter" author and Twitter pro responded to a mom who informed the writer that her son was saying "Avada Kedavra" to her in place of saying "I hate you."

For all you non-Potterheads, Avada Kedavra is the Killing Curse and when done correctly, it instantly causes death. As you can see, the mom is in quite a dilemma. Luckily, Rowling had some advice.

"Tell him your love would protect him from that curse," Rowling tweeted. "Do Dobby eyes as you say it."

Apparently Dobby eyes are the new puppy dog eyes and can be pretty helpful (unless your kids start using them, that is). Take note, parents.
