This isn't the first time the 2012 GOP nominee has issued this warning in the last week.

Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, seemed to issue another warning against presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump during a commencement speech on Saturday.

"Demagogues on the right and the left draw upon our darker angels, scapegoating immigrants and Muslims or bankers and business people," Romney warned the graduating class at Trine University in Angola, Indiana.

While not specifically naming Trump, Romney referenced Trump’s well-documented racism and xenophobia, including proposals to erect a wall along the Mexican border and to ban Muslims from entering the U.S.

Romney has voiced his disapproval with Trump as this year’s candidate, recently calling Trump a “phony” and a “fraud.”

Romney has said he does not intend to back Trump’s nomination. He said he is “dismayed” by what he called “demagoguery and populism” from both parties.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
