Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake did their best to charm the pants off of the audience at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

The two co-stars of the upcoming film "Trolls" hit the stage for a disarmingly sweet, acoustic duet of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors." Given the chill nature of the song, Kendrick and Timberlake looked like they could've been two youth group leaders singing around a campfire.

"We are Anna and Garfunkel," Timberlake joked with the audience before introducing the song. "OK, we are going to give this a go, but you guys have to be nice."

"We're just having fun, we're just friends here, right?" Kendrick nervously said. "This isn't like a big deal, or something. We're just hanging out in our living room ... Right? Please? Yes?"

Timberlake recently premiered his new song, "Can't Stop the Feeling," which will also appear in the animated film.

Kendrick makes a cameo in the video for the former boy-bander's new hit, accompanied by appearances from James Corden, Gwen Stefani and the rest of the DreamWorks cast.
